ST Eco Proofer 225ml - Wash In One Colour
Price: €19.00
Color:One Colour
225ml
Restores the original surface of waterproof garments and equipment and leaves a patented, durable and environmentally friendly finish.
Shake the bottle, pour 75 ml into the fabric softener compartment and then wash according to the manufacturer's guidelines for the garment. For optimal performance, use Storm Wash in the detergent compartment in the same wash cycle. Allow the garment to drip dry and finish drying in a tumble dryer.
When technical equipment is used, the water-repellent surface treatment, DWR, begins to age and become damaged.
Maintaining a good care and cleaning routine will ensure that the garment performs as well as possible for as long as possible, but there will come a time when the DWR needs to be replaced. This can be done by the regular user with a simple wash-in product. Our ECO Proofer contains no harmful PFCs and offers an excellent level of performance.
Applying this renews the garment to as close to its original performance as possible. Washing it in is the easiest way as it can be done in the same wash cycle as cleaning, saving water and energy and minimising washing. To check if a garment needs a little extra DWR, a simple test can be done by dripping water onto the surface of the garment. If the water runs off, the DWR is in good condition; if it sticks to the surface or moistens the surface and the colour darkens, it may be worth using a waterproofing agent in the wash cycle.
ECO Proofer requires a quick tumble dry or ironing after air drying to activate the DWR finish with heat.
