ERIK JONSSON

For Erik Jonsson, skiing has been about freedom, friendship and the joy of progressing with others. While competitions and results are part of the sport, it's everything around them that matters most – the days on the mountain, the laughs with friends and the feeling of pushing each other to land new tricks and keep improving.

ERIK JONSSON — FREESKIER

For Erik, skiing is at its best when it's shared with others. The sense of community, the energy and the opportunity to progress together are what make the sport so special.

“It's mostly about having fun with your friends on the mountain, pushing each other and messing around,” says Erik. “Competing is really just a bonus.”

That positive mindset shapes both his approach to skiing and life beyond the slopes. Erik enjoys challenging himself, trying new things and giving everything he's got once he commits to something.

“I always give one hundred percent to whatever I do,” he says. “It's all or nothing.”

A perfect day on the mountain is sunshine, spring conditions and plenty of friends. For Erik, those are the days that create the best memories.

What continues to inspire Erik most is the sense of community. Watching friends progress, land new tricks and heading home after a day where everyone has pushed each other forward is what makes him want to get back on the mountain again.

“It's always a great feeling to come home after a day on the mountain knowing you've given it everything.”

For Erik, the best days are rarely the most complicated. Sunshine, soft spring snow and friends encouraging each other are all he needs.

When it comes to ski clothing, he's looking for the same feeling he finds in his skiing – freedom of movement, comfort and gear that never gets in the way of the experience. Feeling free every time he clicks into his skis is what matters most.
