ELINA MOGNASCHI KARLSSON

For Elina Mognaschi Karlsson, freeskiing is about much more than tricks and progression. It's about community, creativity and the joy of doing what you love alongside people who share the same passion. For her, skiing is just as much about the people around her as it is about the sport itself.

For Elina, the sense of community is at the heart of freeskiing. It's where her passion for the sport began, and it's still what brings her back to the mountain every day.

“The people you ski with become like family. It's like we're all living in the same movie,” says Elina.

Her skiing is driven by creativity, progression and the desire to keep trying new things. It's not just about landing tricks – it's about growing together with the people around her.

“The encouragement you give and get from your friends pushes me to new heights. It's amazing to see how far you can go while doing something you love.”

For Elina, a perfect day on the mountain doesn't have to mean perfect conditions. More often than not, it's the spontaneous days that turn out to be the most memorable.

“Even if it's pouring with rain, it can still be the best day because you stop overthinking and just have fun. But sunshine and slush are a blast too.”

She's inspired by creative skiing, new features and the opportunity to express herself on skis. Filming and creating content around her skiing is just as much a part of the experience.

“I want people to see my skiing and feel like I'm genuinely having fun.”

When it comes to ski clothing, she looks for garments that keep her warm, dry and free to move.
